Megasquirt 3 PNP for Mazda FE-DOHC. Made on the basis of the Megasquirt 3 daughterboard and the knock module. Contains a 3 bar MAP sensor (air flow meter is no longer required).
Full sequential injection with FE-DOHC distributor.
Knock control from the FE-DOHC sensor. Some wiring options do not have a knock sensor and, accordingly, there is no wire for it in the wiring either. For this, a separate wire is made that can be
connected to the installed knock sensor. The knock sensor is enabled in the settings.
You can use an OEM oxygen sensor or an external wideband AEM. Inside the ECU there is a switch that switches between the OEM O2 sensor or an external one (the external one is enabled by default).
A special input is made for connecting the AEM O2 sensor, red +12v, black ground, white signal. +12 volts is supplied when the ignition is turned on.
The ECU takes synchronization from the OEM distributor, you need to check the ignition angle with a stroboscope. It is possible to use a VR crankshaft sensor. The ECU has a
controller for two VR sensors on the MAX9926 chip.
There is an output for controlling the fan, you can disconnect the standard sensor and connect the ECU control.
There is an output for controlling the boost solenoid.
There is a launch control input. For it to work, you need to install a button on the clutch pedal.
There is a signal input from the speed sensor. The signal for it can be taken from the reed switch installed in the speedometer. Usually in cars with FE-DOHC, the speedometer has a reed switch.
There are two backup analog inputs JS4 and JS5, you can connect, for example, an oil or fuel pressure sensor to them.
There is A/C control. I did everything for this, but did not check. A/C control is disabled in the settings. The car on which I am testing the ECU does not have A/C.
The ECU passed testing on my car with a 0.8 bar turbo. My engine is slightly modified, so the fuel settings will most likely not match your engine.
I have a 2.2l stroker, 10.3 compression ratio and 550cc injectors. But I will adjust the settings so that the engine starts on 270cc OEM injectors. In general, you will have to tune your engine. I recommend installing new spark plug wires, new spark plugs with a gap of 0.9 if you have a naturally aspirated engine and a gap of 0.7 if turbo. A new distributor cap.
The flap control in the intake manifold is set to 5300 rpm.
Bluetooth is used to communicate with the laptop (pin code 1234). I hope you will appreciate the lack of wires and convenience. But there is a USB port inside if necessary.
The case and connector are used. from Toyota. Since it is almost impossible to find from Mazda.
Delivery is included in the price and takes 2-4 weeks.
Supplied fully functional with a daughterboard MS3 and a knock module.
