Custom Megasquirt 2 for 4-cylinder engine.
Built-in knock controller with detonation amplitude tracking (from 1 to 100%). Up to 30% is a safe level, 30-60% is undesirable. Above 60% is dangerous for the engine (but sometimes you need to step over the line). The important thing is that you know what is happening in your engine. You can use almost any Bosch wideband knock sensor (for example 0261231036).
Two Bosch ignition switches allow you to directly connect a dual ignition coil. Use spark plugs with a built-in resistor.
You can connect a two-pin idle speed valve or a 4-pin with a stepper motor.
Inputs for launch control, fuel and ignition table switching. Connecting the Flex Fuel sensor to use a mixture of gasoline and alcohol as fuel.
Any MAP sensor can be used.
The crankshaft sensor input has high sensitivity and works stably at high speeds.
Use high-resistance injectors or low-resistance ones with additional 5.1 Ohm resistors.
The ECU has a RS-232 output for connecting to a laptop or Bluetooth (pin1234), the choice is made automatically.
You can connect a broadband oxygen sensor or a narrowband one.
A used case and connector from a Bosch ECU are used for assembly - this greatly reduces the cost of the product.
Delivery can take 3 weeks (but sometimes it is 4).
In fact, this is an entry-level ECU, it is convenient to take the first steps in tuning. It is not overloaded with unnecessary functions,
but at the same time allows you to build a fairly powerful and reliable engine. The setup is intuitive and does not cause difficulties.
Tunerstudio and Megalogviewer are used for setup.
